Access your account
Access your Mincemeat account using the email address and password provided by your organisation. Once signed in, you can view your assigned resources, manage settings, and deploy applications.
Before you start
- You need a Mincemeat account created by your organisation's administrator.
- You need the email address associated with your account.
- You need your initial password or a password you have set.
How you get an account
Mincemeat accounts are created by administrators within your organisation. You should receive:
- An invitation email with a sign-in link, or
- Your email address and an initial password from your administrator.
If you have not received account details, contact your organisation's Mincemeat administrator.
Sign in for the first time
- Open the Mincemeat app in your browser.
- Enter your email address in Email.
- Enter your password in Password.
- Select Sign in.
- If prompted, change your initial password to a secure password of your choice.
Session behavior
After signing in, your session remains active until:
- You sign out manually.
- A period of inactivity expires your session.
- Your account permissions change.
- An administrator resets your password.
When your session expires, you are redirected to the sign-in page. Any unsaved changes may be lost, so save your work regularly.
Recover access
If you cannot sign in:
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Forgotten password | Use the Forgot password link on the sign-in page to reset your password via email. |
| Lost 2FA access | Use one of your saved recovery codes. If you have no recovery codes, contact your administrator. |
| Account locked | Contact your administrator or contact support. |
| No invitation received | Check your spam folder, then contact your administrator. |
